What do A Peacock, Wonder Woman, A Heavy Metal Rocker, a Ninja Turtle, a Flapper, and a Stack of Pancakes all have in common? Not much, I'll tell you that. But this year, all of these were costumes that Restitch Studio had the unique privilege of working on in one capacity or another. Some people have agreed to post a picture of themselves dressed up in their costume on the Restitch Studio Facebook Page, so keep an eye out! For that matter, *anyone who posts a picture of themselves or kid(s) in costume on the Restitch Studio Facebook page between now and November 4th will get 10% off their next alteration and entered into my monthly drawing for great discounts/prizes. It will be like an online costume party, so come on over and invite your friends!
Anyway, as promised on October 1st, here is the ONE original costume that I made this year:
It turned out really cute and the little girl looooved wearing it. I chose pancakes because according to her parents, they are her favorite thing--ever-- in her short life (so far). I saw her preening in front of the mirror only to be followed by strutting up and down the street collecting candy. She seems excited to wear it again on Thursday for the official Trick-or-Treat night, here in State College. Maybe someone will be handing out bottles of syrup...maybe not.
*one offer per household
